Comparison

EmailStitch vs Beefree: a design builder vs a production workflow.

Beefree, now called RGE Studio, is a drag-and-drop builder for emails and landing pages with a large template gallery. EmailStitch is built for teams that ship the same email in several languages: code or canvas, a translation grid, QA on every language and a push to the ESP.

Why teams choose EmailStitch over Beefree

  1. 01

    Unlimited languages for $49

The Team plan includes unlimited languages per template for $49 per month. RGE Studio, formerly Beefree, includes 24 additional languages on its $160 Business plan.

  2. 02

    Every language checked before export

Review checks each language version for dead links, missing unsubscribe tags, unresolved merge tags and empty translations, then Publish pushes each one to your ESP.

  3. 03

Real code and a canvas, one template

Developers write HTML in a code editor with live linting. Everyone else builds from the same modules on a canvas and edits copy without touching the layout.

  4. 04

    One brand for every email

Brand colors, fonts and the email width are workspace tokens. Change them once and every email in the workspace follows.

Beefree is now RGE Studio

The Beefree builder is now sold as RGE Studio, "formerly Beefree", next to Really Good Emails, the email design gallery. The product is the same kind of tool: a visual builder for emails and landing pages, with saved blocks, comments, approvals and exports to ESPs and marketing platforms.

Design first vs template first

In a builder, each email is a design. You start from a template, change it, export it. That works well for one-off campaigns.

In EmailStitch an email is a template that several people work on: a developer builds it in code or from workspace modules, copy and translations go in through Localize without touching the layout, Review checks it, and Publish sends every language to the ESP. Brand colors, fonts and the email width are workspace tokens, so every email in the workspace uses the same values.

Build: drag modules from the workspace library onto the canvas. Colors come from the brand palette, and text fields hold translation keys.

Languages: how many, and checked how

EmailStitch counts languages per template: three on Free, twenty on Starter at $19 and unlimited on Team at $49. Each language has its own row in the translation grid and its own subject line, and Review checks each version separately before you push it.
