Comparison
EmailStitch vs Litmus: checking the code before send vs seeing it in 100+ inboxes.
Litmus renders your email in real inboxes and monitors it after send. EmailStitch is where the template is built, translated and checked: it runs QA on every language version, then pushes each one to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign or Omnisend.
Get startedWhy teams choose EmailStitch over Litmus
- 01
Every language checked, not just the first
Review runs on each language version and compares it with the first one. A German email that lost a link or a French one that still contains English text shows up before anyone pushes it.
- 02
Checks that know your ESP
EmailStitch checks the unsubscribe tag for the ESP you send from, merge tags that did not resolve, greetings that render as "Hi ," and unclosed conditionals, and flags them as Blockers.
- 03
Build, translate and push in one place
You build the template in code or from modules, translate it in a grid, check it and push every language to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign or Omnisend. No uploading between tools.

Two different questions before send
Litmus answers "what will this look like in each inbox?". It renders the email in 100+ clients, including dark mode, and adds a checklist for links, images and tracking, accessibility checks and spam tests across 25+ filters. Email Guardian keeps watching templates after they go live.
EmailStitch answers "is this template correct, in every language, for the ESP I send from?". Review compiles each language version and lists what is wrong in it: dead links, a missing unsubscribe tag for your active ESP, merge tags that did not resolve, a greeting that renders as "Hi ,", a translation left empty, or HTML close to the Gmail clipping limit.

Where languages change the picture
In Litmus you test the email you give it. If you send the same campaign in German, French and Spanish, each version is a separate email to build, upload and check.
In EmailStitch the languages live in one template. Translations sit in a grid or come in from Excel, each language gets its own subject line, and Compile builds every version. Review then compares each version with the first one, so a German email that lost a link or a French one that still contains English text shows up before anyone pushes it.

EmailStitch vs Litmus: FAQ
Is EmailStitch a Litmus alternative?
Yes, for everything that can be checked in the code before send: links, unsubscribe tags, merge tags, personalization, HTML structure, Gmail clipping and language mismatches, on every language. And unlike Litmus, EmailStitch also builds the template and pushes it to your ESP.
How much does Litmus cost?
Litmus does not publish prices. As of October 2026 its pricing page leads to a sales form. EmailStitch has a free plan, and paid plans are $19, $49 and $149 per month.
Does Litmus handle emails in several languages?
We did not find a translation or language-version feature on Litmus's website. You can test each language version as a separate email. In EmailStitch all versions belong to one template and Review checks each one.
Litmus vs Email on Acid: where does EmailStitch fit?
Litmus and Email on Acid (now Mailgun Inspect) both render emails in 100+ clients. EmailStitch sits earlier in the process: building the template, translating it and checking the code of every language before the push to your ESP.
Which ESPs does EmailStitch push to?
Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign and Omnisend. For any other platform, Download ZIP gives you one HTML file per language.
